Hello,
I have recently been contacted by several institutions in Egypt that are interested in offering OT services for children in their facilities. If you are an institution in Egypt looking to hire OT's or an OT looking to work in Egypt, please email me at LME1169@gmail.com and I would be happy to post your contact information on the blog and/or forward your information to interested parties.
If requesting to post, please provide the following information:
Institution seeking OT:
Name of institution
Job description and requirements
Contact information
OT seeking work in Egypt:
Name
Brief description of experience and work environment interested in working.
Contact information
It is refreshing to know there is some growth in OT services in Egypt.
Since the Jordanian Society for OT has the most OT prospects to work in the region, their society is a good source of job candidates. The Jordanian Society for OT has a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Jordanian-Society-For-Occupational-Therapy-JSOT/195531410473047
You can always post on their page and/or they also have a group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/54402154998/
Palestinian OT Association also has a group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/group.paot/ Although, my understanding is that it is harder for them to get work visa's in Egypt. So, please anyone correct me if I am wrong about that.
Lebanese OT Association: http://www.facebook.com/groups/49014619940/
Thanks,
Laura
