In honor of World Occupational Therapy Awareness Day 2014, I presented two complimentary workshops at the Learning Resource Center:

(2) Occupational Therapy Tips for Parents and Educators: Supporting Child Development
We discussed the importance of using fun activities to enhance participation in writing tasks, the importance of routines for children, the importance of participating in household tasks, how to develop sensory motor skills through self help tasks, how to develop a sensory room at home and school and more.

If you would like to host an OT Awareness workshop like this one at your nursery, school, center or organization, please contact me at laura@childdevelopmentclub.org.
Thank you to all who attended,
